WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
FAQS
-
You’ve probably been to a Super Bowl party in a home, office or church. You can probably also imagine how a fun, simple gathering like this is a great opportunity to build connection and deepen relationships. The World Cup is similar — 104 games concentrated in a six week time period giving us multiple opportunities to reach thousands of people by hosting watch parties.
-
There are many ways as a believer for you to get involved:
1) Open your home to host a watch party. The free host kit provides you everything you need!
2) Start today as an Office Volunteer.
3) Serve on the Stadium Outreach Team.
4) Serve on the Prayer Team.
5) Talk with your church leaders or office manager about hosting a Watch Party at your church or workplace.
6) Give financially to support the ministry. -
If we receive an individual’s contact information, we’ll email them a Bible study and prayer guide. We also encourage them to stay connected to their watch party host for discipleship next steps.
If they don’t have a host, they’ll be matched with a participating church in their zip code. To be considered as a participating church for follow-up referrals, simply email your written discipleship plan to hello@victoryseattle.org.
-
That’s okay! Lack of soccer knowledge will not impact your participation. If you decide to host a watch party, the free host kit provides enough context about the World Cup to help you feel comfortable and prepared. The main goal of volunteering is simply being willing and intentional with your time, heart, and conversations, regardless if you're a soccer expert or not.
